Bro, i just changed my front brake pad at Stamford Tyre Bukit Batok and the mechanic quote me $210 .. he said stock brake pad but the color is greenish (different from stock). Before that i went to Autobac and they quote me $300 .. immediately I say No thanks.

I don't know $210 still considered kena carrot or not .. hahaha. Anyway, I grab it .. so far so good.

When i got my first car, autobacs and sparks told me my radiator had cracks - each said cost 300- 500 plus. In the end, got 2nd hand at 100+. guess just need ask few more wkshp.

Think market rate for stock brake pads or bendix ones ard 150 ish

For my case, after the mechanic had tightened the belts, no more sound already.

the issue i having now is not the bird chirping.. that 1 is maroon5..

come to think of it.. could it be engine mounting?? ..

but its only from 40+km/hr - 60 then have the slight vibration + " gon gon gon sound" (can hear ) hmm...

I changed my mounting around 60k plus mileage.

Best is to get workshop to check or second opinion.

Whether mountings need to change at whatever mileage depends on the driving style of the car owner. :D

Yes. The greenish colour brake pads are original ones. Brand should be Sumitomo. OEM Mitsubishi supplier.

I agree. Some of the workshops which service Mitsubishi Lancer CS 3 charges less than S$150 for change of brake pads (original parts) including labour charges.

No. My other corporate office is in CBD. I always park at Golden Shoe or One George Street. Parking charges for official work can be claimed. Just want to find the lowest rates for ease of claim.
