Hi All, I would like to sell my NPMP Maintenance Program V for Nissan Qashqai J11 2015 model. The package was bought on 23 Nov 2018 and will last until 22 Nov 2020. The package covers 2 years or 40,000km and I have used 2 and there are 2 remaining servicing left. Buyer shall bear the administrative transfer fee at $30 (exclude GST). Just sent my Sylphy at Tan Chong for 80K servicing, the SA recommends to change:

1. Crankshalf oil seal $235
2. Intake manifold gasket $256
3. Reseal oil sump $137

Is the price reasonable? If not, could any kind souls let me know any good workshop at Bukit Merah/Alexandra area?

before u ask if price reasonable.

u should ask why is it necessary to do those replacement? your car only 80k. what problem is your car having? oil leakage??

crankshalf oil seal? even cars with  200k dun replace them unless they are leaking.

intake manifold gasket? dun make any sense to replace them .

reseal oil sump? the quality so poor?  80k car oil sump already leaking??

Agree, all the items mentioned are static items that  can last for a long time. Moreover they will usually show signs of leakage when deteriorate , will not cause a car to breakdown suddenly. No need to replace proactively, no damage no replacement.

2.    Included NPMP ownership transfer fees x 1 (UP:- SGD32)
3.    Magnetic Mesh Sunshades for 4 x passenger doors window (UP:- SGD36)
4.    Rubber map for 4 x passenger doors (UP:- SGD5)
5.    OBD2 TPMS with auto doors lock x 1 (UP:- SGD20)

You save is my loses and do PM me for more information.

You need to understand that Nissan has gone downhill after French influence. They further lost their way.

Give them 3 yrs. Maybe can improve from current situation.
