Ariskoh Neutral Newbie August 7, 2009 Share August 7, 2009 you can check this link http://www.onemotoring.com.sg/publish/onem.../ERP_Rates.html I always been wondering why ERP operates till Sat night 8pm in town area? Isn't we suppose to boost the economy with more shopping on weekends? And I don't see massive traffic in areas like Bugis on Sat nights.. maybe should review? Blueray Hypersonic August 7, 2009 Share August 7, 2009 I agree, ERP in the city on sat evenings till 8pm makes little sense. for me, I just avoid going to town for shopping or food during the ERP hours.

Reuters Clutched August 8, 2009 Share August 8, 2009 Exactly. I always time myself to enter town after 8pm. ERP on Saturdays are absurd. yeah.. i thought most of us do not work on Saturdays already? do we need to regulate traffic in the marina square/china town area if it is not a working day? Yuan 6th Gear August 8, 2009 Share August 8, 2009 yeah.. i thought most of us do not work on Saturdays already? do we need to regulate traffic in the marina square/china town area if it is not a working day? It is not about working. It is about the bigger flow of traffic coming from a certain direction, through certain roads and heading towards a particular destination.....They try to regulate by the bigger flow of moving traffic regardless of weekdays or weekends.
