hi

wondering if anyone else had this issue

just realised i had this problem after trying out on

IE8, Firefox, Opera, and Goggle Chrome

that if i try to Print a webpage directly from any of the mentioned browser,

File -> Print

ALL of them will notify it has 'crashed' and need to restart!

[sweatdrop]

IE8 pop up a DEP error

initially i thot it was the silly IE8 but with the 3 other browsers also behaving

in similar way i think the prob run a bit deeper

btw, am running XP

hope some IT experts here can shed some lights

cheers & TIA [:)]

Can you specify whether it is a network printer or a printer that is directly connected to your computer?

And can you otherwise print with no problems from other applications say MS Word?

Have you ensured that all of the browsers have been updated to their latest build versions?

Ensure that you have not accidentally disabled the Windows Printer Spooler Service. To check go to Start>Run and type services.msc

Look for "Print Spooler".

Under the Status and Startup Type Column, check that they are set to "Started" and "Automatic" respectively.

thanks to bros who highlight it [thumbsup]

pls see...

Datails:

<Operation environment>

Windows XP Service Pack2 later

Windows Server2003 Service Pack1 later

<Sympton>

If you are using LBP3200 on Windows XP Service Pack 2 or another operating system equipped with Data Execution Prevention function, the [Data Execution Prevention] dialog box may appear before printing.

In this case, update the software using the following procedure.

You can print without displaying the [Data Execution Prevention] dialog box by updating the software.
