Neutral Newbie

Guys I am helping a friend to find the floor mat for 1995 E280, W124.

He doesn't like those 3M mats.

Clutched

If he doesn't like the 3M car mats, it's unlikely he'll adore the original car mats.

The W124 original car mats are really small pieces (those at the rear) because they are not supposed to cover the air vents under the front seats

Clutched

If you turn the aircon control dial to up/down, the aircon pushes cold air from the air vents in front of the dash board, under the windscreen - that's up. The down cool air comes from the air vents under the front seats - and cools the passengers' feet (nice feeling)

Try Waterloo street's Tye Soon or next door Sin Lian Hong, they may still have the rubber mats with a M.B. star in the centre.

From memory, W124 uses thick heavy rubber mats...not the hairy types like 3M. Isn't it? (Hairy types hahaaaa...)

Those are the originals - not sure where to find them

Heard recently that Propel has some in stock - you might want to check them out
