I rented and drove one to KL - found it kinda stressful on the North South as underpowered.

Four speed box with a 2.4 engine that has to work rather hard to keep the car moving = not very good consumption. But I can't remember exactly what sort of figures I got for the trip, too long ago.

7 yrs ago, i was deciding between Ipsum(Picnic) & Odyssey(RA6 i tink...). a test dr made mi put my signature down on e Ipsum immediately. Odyssey was simply too noisy to b driven. Go test it urself to decide [cool]

hi all,

what is the worse case if buy this car, beside the engine?

body frame possible fracture?

how long you think this car can last, another 10 years possible?

I like old odyssey( <2002) compare new one.

No reason not to last - like any other car this age though you will be taking your luck in your hands.

But seriously - do get some power upgrades if you can, the one I drove really was very slow unless worked the engine hard

Also the newer ones the ride quallity is WAY better

how about the new one ? anyone test driven ? [thumbsup] or [thumbsdown] ...

anw back to topic , i think it should be ok but i think for an old car like that the maintanence bad . because parts either difficult to find or no longer in production .

wat about the coe... after the 5 years finish can it still be renew

I believe this odyssey is renewed with 5 yrs COE till 2014. So no, you can't renew the COE when it ends in 2014.
