I am using it myself and bought online.  There are many clones but if it works for you, then good.

If you are referring to the 70mai TPMS, it is out of stock at all the Mi store. I checked the Funan and VivoCity and was told stock will arrive mid of next month.

is there a TPMS that can just use app, ie. without need to have receiver?

i think there were some bluetooth ones out there. but from what i have seen, they are pricey and unreliable. just go for the current ones, all using tried and tested tech. cheap and good.

Why would you want to forgo cheap and good independent display that is always on  to give you alerts when tyres are deflated and instead go for an app (with or without receiver) that may stop working once no Android support/no phone/BT not turned on etc??

he is driving a porky... already too porky and cannot add further weight! hahahhaha. joking la. he probably wants a clean dash. in this case, then he should get those ciggy lighter ones. which is what i'm using.

But agree that the standalone simple stuff is best. no need to care about BT connection or replacement cost should it break.
