Chilarvet82 Neutral Newbie May 22, 2022 Share May 22, 2022 Hi, I would like to re-visit this topic again with any latest information. I will be going Bintan on Monday - Wednesday, and back Wednesday late afternoon. Wanna drive there and park for those 3 days. Saw that it was $28max for 24hours block checked grab and it was like $40 per trip. Since I'm with 4 adults and 2 kids, most likely has to be a grab mpv car or 2 taxis, so more costly if I grab. Just want to check with all here, lately anyone parked there overnight or for a few days? Advice if any 🙏. Appreciate it.

Are you a cheapskate? If you are, you can drop your family off at tanah merah Ferry terminal, then park at Changi park car park and take a bus back to join them. On return, you take a bus to collect your car, drive back to pick them up.. Parking is free overnight at the park and if your Monday to wed covers a public holiday, it is also free. But very let chey. But cheaper even if you pay from 0800 to 1730 for the weekdays. Edited May 23, 2022 by Philipkee
Jman888 Moderator May 23, 2022 Share May 23, 2022 3 days total $84 vs 2 way grab/taxi, end up about the same, parking is better cos you max exposure is $84 and no need to wait for taxi/grab which maybe hard to get at peak timing.
13177 Supersonic May 23, 2022 Share May 23, 2022 If take grab/taxi is more ex than parking your car at the tanah merah Ferry terminal, then you can choose to drive and parked there. 3 days still consider not that long. Last last time i remember parking at changi airport was $20 capped per 24 hour block, i drove and parked there if i go for 3 days and less holiday trip since taxi fare is about the same or even more ex than parking.

Driving seems cheaper and more convenient.

Crowded and messy sometimes. The difference in money is no big deal . Edited May 23, 2022 by Throttle2

Ya, convenience should be top priority than money if the difference is not that great. ↡ Advertisement
