There's a mini zoo in Desaru fruit farm too but need to join their farm tour then can enter.

I brought my kids for a 3D2N stay in Lotus Desaru when they were 3 and 8. Only went fruit farm and rest of tbe time played waterpark and swam in the resort.

Don't think my kids will be interested in farm tour.

But ostrich farm will be good for them.

Maybe desaru + ostrich farm, then the day of return to SG just go to legoland and come back late afternoon or something.

Worst still, is that the existing nearby old and run down Tunamaya also want to cash in and have jacked up their rooms by almost double. Previously on a normal weekend, 1 night costs about $70-$80, now its around $130-$140! And I am very certain they have not done any refurbishment to anything at all. It's still old and rundown. At least the Sands & Sandal had a major revamp and are charging close to $200 now. Before the revamp, they used to charge $80-$100.

They can try to charge whatever price they want, but if Singaporeans don't bite for a longer period, I'm sure they will sweat and bring down their prices

Just came back from the new Desaru Water theme park. Not bad...You can spend a whole day there. Lots of rides and slides. The big wave pool was very relaxing but the Cabanas there (small tentages at the wave pool there has a safe and a small fridge) are really ex @ RM300 rental/day. Food wise, we went to this new place at Sg Renggit called Super Lobster. Prices are better than Jade Garden. We just had butter lobster. It's nice and fresh. Too bad their crabs were sold out. A new discovery is this Thai food place called Aroi Thai at Tunamaya. They serve a variety of Thai dishes (in smaller portions) at RM1.90/bowl! Must try!

The 3 hotels beside there, Hard Rock, Westin & Anantara should be open towards year end and they will be charging an eye-popping S$300+ per room at least......

Price seems to have dropped quite a fair bit, any feedback from those who have been there recently?

Which one is better, Westin or Hardrock?

We used to travel to Malaysia 3 or 4 times a year but for the past 4 years due to family circumstances haven't been once.

Can someone please let me know what we have to do to drive into Malaysia by car.

Thanks.

No way to top at Tuas or JB CIQ now

Used to be leftmost lane at Tuas Malaysia toll.

Has that been discontinued.

I have 3 TnG cards but haven't used for so many years they might have all been nulled.
