when u buy car dun look at buying price just.... also need to consider selling (scrap) value.. the jap with higher omv (ie: higher paper value) + better future resale value makes sense from financial point.

This only apply if the different is very big. like i say, if one car is is 69K with OMV 18K while the other is 65K with OMV 15K. Which will you buy?

Of couse if the car is 100K with OMV 30K verse 100K and OMV 23K its easy.

you will have to check if its Twin Charge or only turbo charge. If its twin charge, then you can consider. IF turbo charge... i dont think so as current Turbo charge is only selling at 85K???

if base on the badge it should be a single charge.

jeremy clarkson can fit in such cars...but there's really no space for him to stretch his legs...notice his knees are touching the front dash, even with the seats in the rearmost position?? that's how big and tall he is...

Yeah, but he never complained did he. He sat in Minis & Fiat 500, which are almost as small as it gets, but not once did he complain about the lack of space.

I think we are just being a little fussy & need "personal space". No matter what, driving still beats sitting in the MRT or to get sandwiched in our world class transport system.

I have a mini. Trust me, the polo is really cramp compared to a new generation mini. the mini can sit 4 comfortably. front sit, fat people also no problem. That's why i decided against buying the polo. becoming old liao, need the space for tummy.

people in europe don't really care much about space...to them a 7-series is a limo...to us, just a normal luxury car...

people there drive small cars...as long can get them from point A to point B good enough...

Americans though huge in size, their cars are also huge...the bigger the better for them...

for me, i like to stretch out as much as possible in a car...reclining the fronts seats almost all the way back and making the seats as high as possible...

i still don't quite like sedans though...have to crunch to get in and out of the car...

prefer taller hatchbacks though...

Not really fair to compare with Jeremy Clarkson imo. It's his job to review such cars i.e. sit in them for a day or two for his show. Just because he fits in them doesn't necessarily mean he enjoys sitting in them.

And for the fun of it, Wiki reveals the cars Jeremy Clarkson has owned before:

* Ford Escort RS Cosworth

* Ford GT

* Ford Cortina

* 1980s Alfa Romeo GTV6

* Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder

* Ferrari F355

* BMW Z1

* Ford Fiesta

* Toyota Land Cruiser Amazon

* Chevrolet Corvette C6 ZR1
