Many years ago, my fren nearly died when his bike skidded at this bend.

 

Luckily he din fall off from the flyover and landed himself on PIE.

How come got idiots in LTA that come up with ideas that signs should be placed up at sharp bends.

People who look at the signs will have higher chance of crashing. Right?

I dun think so cos from a distance, the speed will be detected already and there will be enough time for one to slow down.

 

Provided the driver is dreaming and nobody will take this bend at high speed (over 100km/hr).

It's been there for quite a while. But for a period of time, they took it down. Now they put it up again, maybe after they upgraded the device with a camera since quite a number of motorists use it to see the max speed they can corner.
