Incom 1st Gear May 3, 2010 Share May 3, 2010 (edited) Hi, FYI. For those who pump at Caltex and using Safra Card for discount. The discount has being reduced from 12% to 11%. Went to pump on 03 May 2010, found out the discount has being reduced from the cashier. Safra web site still showing 12%, only confirmed upon calling the Safra Card hotline. No form of notice, even the web site is not updated. Regards. Edited May 3, 2010 by Incom ↡ Advertisement

Need to wait for HSBC card users to come in to feedback. From the look of it, it seems that the reduction of discount is very sudden and across the board. Branteo Clutched May 3, 2010 Share May 3, 2010 Phew! From the title of the topic, I thought it was a total, absolute withdrawal of discounts. Aiyah! Difference of 1% nia - I'm still satisified. I pump about $60/week. The 1% will translate into $31.20/year or S$0.085/day

First thing that came to my mind, switching from Caltex to Esso.

Reys Neutral Newbie May 3, 2010 Share May 3, 2010 Actually the safra one is really useless. 12% off but no points. You can use other combi of cards + points and you can yield even more
