Watwheels Supersonic May 12, 2010 Share May 12, 2010 I wonder how the petrol version fares considering the diesel one which Jeremy Clarkson tested was labeled by him as "Rubbish" and sounded like a "garbage truck". Among other things he commented were scratchy plastics for the interior. The seats were compared with those of a Ford Galaxy and the ride comfort has been characterized as weak. The design of the X1 is also compared to some Korean brand by JC (which I shall not comment further). Quite jialat comments for the car on the whole. Just Google Jeremy Clarkson, The Times, X1. Already The TS tio pian into thinking the X1 is a "baby" SUV in the BMW range. I doubt the price will be remotely "baby" when it reaches our shores. It appears like one to me :) . This BMW looks very expensive but I'm sure it's worth it. VW Tiguan 2.0's OMV is $25,864. The japs... Rav4 2.4 - $27,887 CRV 2.0 - $30,880 QashQai - $23,451 Murano 2.5 - $39,595 So, if PM decides to keep to smaller margin, X1 will sells like hot cake.
