Sumitomo HTR ZIII

Hi All,

 

Was introduced to this tyre recently. Looks like a good value Y-rating Japanese tyre.

 

It has good ratings and reviews from Tirerack.

In a test, the ZIII even beat CSCIII

 

Any users of this ZIII in Singapore? Any good or bad feedback?

 

Understand not many tyre shops carry this brand.

wonder what's the price.. i like hankook stuff but if this is cheaper, maybe see how next change. another issue is whether got 15 inch or not =P

I know of 2 places that sell sumitomo tyres, but not sure this model is availiable, one is at the industrial park opposite republic poly, the other one is at tuas area.

i bought mine from silent. price wise, quite affordable. been using it on my subaru ts. can handle corners really well even in wet weather. but noise wise, not really that quiet. much nosier than the original toyo tyres i had earlier.

Hmmm...finally changed my T1R to this HTR ZIII...all thanks for a screw that flatten my tyre..

 

Running it for 2 days and I am happy abt them...

 

Maybe it is new, I feel they are more fuel efficient...noise level is much better the and T1Rs...

 

I am also feeling quite confident abt the handling...hence not too much difference from the T1Rs

Hello, can they tyres be criss crossed during rotation or they are directional?

Yes, they are asymmeteric so can be criss cross when doing rotation...

There is only the word " outside"..

 

 

Diff from my previous T1R which has Left/Right.
