Roh96 6th Gear June 4, 2010 Share June 4, 2010 be prepared to see more Golf's and Polo to flood our roads man!!! At this price I doubt it will flood our roads lah, unless we are talking about 60k for Polo.
Ferraricalifornia 1st Gear June 4, 2010 Author Share June 4, 2010 The Polo is around $10k more for the 1.2TSI compared to the 1.4L model right??? that isn't a huge price to pay for a VW badged car.... and i should think it'd come with slightly more features too, like multi-function steering wheel with paddle shifts, and audio control, bigger rims, sunroof even.... Zafchen Neutral Newbie June 4, 2010 Share June 4, 2010 it got turbo. how else does a 1.2L go under 10s from 0 to 100km/h? oh... thanks.. cos the spec didnt mention it a tc engine... hmm, 1.2L car pack with 1.6L bhp will be good for singapore... Joseph22 Turbocharged June 4, 2010 Share June 4, 2010 Everything is nice except the price. 80k for a Polo? dont just look at the 80K. think of the FC, road Tax and insurance you save per year, if you drive for 5 years, i believe it will start to become cheaper than a Honda Jazz liao. plus 5 star safety some more. Joseph22 Turbocharged June 4, 2010 Share June 4, 2010 FC of Polo better than Jazz ? FC of polo 1.2 TSI factory claimed 5.7Ltr/ 100 km/ Anyway new Jazz 1.5 Last heard FC is around 14~15km/ltr actual singapore condition.

Coupecabriolet Clutched June 4, 2010 Share June 4, 2010 free road tax is probably a gimmick thing. before this thing came up on the papers or elsewhere, they are already giving so-called discounts. e.g scirocco 114k, when you express interest, they will tell you give discount until around 105k.. roughly 9k discount. now is the roughly the same, for the amount of discount. if you enquire about the 10yr road tax, they will tell you already included inside. e.g scirocco 1.4tsi = 620sgd road tax, x 10 yrs = $6200 only.. which is lesser than the 9k discount. i think they only do this for 1.2 or 1.4 engine. i duno if they do for higher CC engines like the one in passat cc 1.8tsi.
