Here is an easy guide for those who want to watch the World Cup on the Internet.

1) Go to few websites that act as the Yellow Pages for live soccer.

1a) http://www.myp2p.eu (http://www.myp2p.eu/competition.php?competitionid&part=sports&discipline=worldcup2010)

1b) http://www.mivo.tv/ (If your antenna can't get SCTV, u can stream it from here, quality good)

1c) http://veetle.com/ (my favourite)

1d) http://worldcup.beep.com/friendly_matches.htm

1e) http://www.freefootball.org/upcoming.php?id=a

1f) http://livefooty.doctor-serv.com/

2) If you using P2P software to stream, the best p2p is Sopcast (http://www.sopcast.com/). Other that you can try include TvU (http://www.tvunetworks.com/) or TVants (http://tvants.en.softonic.com/)

3) If u streaming from your laptop, you might consider connecting the laptop using the HDMI cable to your TV.

Enjoy hah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The trick is to get the bitrate correct. I have been using P2P software for 2-3 years already.

Im just using 1 MGBS so 400-500 bitrate should give one of the better quality and not too much time lag. There is a few broadcaster that give the better screen, so you have to trial and error.

Vettle is one the best, but once too many people watching, it can lag quite bad or just hang. Been watching FSC. U have to install their software first before can watch.

Other than Internet, I also bought antenna from Jusco Bukit Indah RM15 can get RCTI, RTM2 and RTM1, TV3, TV8, TV9....

which one has the clearest pic quality? i find the sopcast n TVU not very clear, watch in full screen even worse..

I too have been watching matches on PPTV. I choose the cantonese commentary though.
