Soya Supersonic June 10, 2010 Share June 10, 2010 If 99% of the time watching SD TV thru Starhub Digital or DVD, which one would you choose? Main concern is blurry or grainy pics evident from LCD TVs. ↡ Advertisement
Pda_lover Neutral Newbie June 10, 2010 Share June 10, 2010 Plasma is your answer bro.... LCD/LCD could never compare to what PQ plasma can offer when it comes to SD...

Chewbacca 1st Gear June 10, 2010 Share June 10, 2010 CRT. SD TV? No point for LCD and Plasma, ya? Hehehe.
Ben5266 Supercharged June 10, 2010 Share June 10, 2010 CRT. SD TV? No point for LCD and Plasma, ya? Hehehe. Think HD Ready LCD is better. 40" HD Ready is now Cheaper than 29" CRT. Actually, I recommend to change the Starhub box to HD box for additional $2 per month. Use HDMI to connect to my HD ready LCD. Better picture than the sd box. Sometimes have HD movie in Ch5HD. Nice. Soya Supersonic June 10, 2010 Author Share June 10, 2010 $2 more onli for HD box? Onz! But other starhub channels not in HD so Plasma still the better choice? Found some advice here: http://asia.cnet.com/digitalliving/ask/0,3...62200584,00.htm. Seems like HD-ready Plasma is the way to go.

I am currently using 32" HD Ready LCD. Feel like changing to 40" Plasma, LCD or LED. But then, if the source is only SD, no point paying $1k more for LED. Maybe HD Ready Plasma is a better choice. Opel17 6th Gear June 14, 2010 Share June 14, 2010 I believe plasma tv have better picture quality. However, if the plasma tv location is facing windows/lights, there would be a reflective glare on the plasma screen, which reduce viewing pleasure. ↡ Advertisement
