You mean 5w30 or 5w40 ACEA C3 spec right? I don't think ACEA C3 come in 5w50 viscosity.

Fuchs Titan GT1 Pro-Flex 5w30 & Fuchs Titan GT1 5w40 are both ACEA C3 spec.

Using Fuchs Titan C1 for my diesel Picasso..engine run smoother and I getting better fuel consumption..

Gonna drain out that si hum from AD immediately after servicing.. really cmi.. Somehow the engine vibrate and no power.. Inform AD and they say no fault code so everything is ok..

Why try to save a small amount of $$ which may in turns create more damages to yr very expensive toy unless you intend to scrap it after few yrs of running.

Absolutely, you will save a little now only to spend much more later ...

A case of penny wise pound foolish like someone mentioned a

bove

if the mobil is 5w40, than it will be a hot buy. 50 weight is too thick. Shell is selling $38.90 if i am not wrong still is cheaper than AD shops selling at $100+ a  4L bottle.

5w50 suitable for diesel? old nissan cabstar.

I'm keen to buy the Shell engine oil from Giant, and would like to ask for recommendation of workshop providing reasonable labour charges.

Driving a Honda, by the way.

Thanks in advanced. PM me if possible.

I'm willing to pay a market rate, which I reckon is between 20-30+ for a standard oil change labor?

Thanks.

Preferable to get those diesel engine oils as they have detergent added in to clean the engine.

found this at $25 / bottle of 5L:

File%203-5-18%201%2007%2019%20PM_zpszadu

this lorry has 500k mileage on it :a-panic:

can the lorry use w40? $25 for 5L is cheap though.

500k mileage is common for commercial vehicles that are on the roads from 9-5.
