I don't think hypermarkets/supermarkets of that scale will sell fake engine oil.

The most they do is parallel import selling the products that is not meant for our market.

Just like genuine car spareparts. If it is for domestic China market consumption. You cannot say that is a fake right.

Is there a problem if we use higher levels? (for example SL)
Is it beneficial?

Do a search in BITOG forum on this oil brand and see if they have any review or UOA or not. From there you can judge if it's good enough or not.

I stay away from other brands.  Only will use shell, mobil, idemitsu.  These are  major players in the oil and gas industry.

My friend once told me, you want your products to sell better it’s very easy.

Just write some Japanese words on it and you suddenly can sell at a premium and higher price.

Just a heads-up, Giant is offering SHU at $29/- only.

Only issues are finding a workshop willing to change oil/filter and charge labour only.   Currently market rate for this labour service seems to be inching up, like $35 or more now.
