Alfa 147 - A Decade...

My 147's COE is up this June. Thought I'll just get an "update" and get a Giulietta (since the Giulia price range is sooooooo not within my reach). Went to test drive a 1.4 Giulietta. I was kind of disappointed. The drive was more comfortable, sounded great and felt great (but only after 2nd gear). Maybe I'm just not used to the initial lag, the strange position of the handbrake which required me to reach over the centre arm rest to engage/disengage and that less sporty steering wheel. I just felt like the thrill and raw power feel was missing. Maybe I just need to get used to more refined rides [laugh]

In any case, I need to find a car soon!!!

Just renew coe. New alfas are just not as raw

Yes removed the heatshield coz it cracked and was loose.

As for Motorpassion, yes they do Alfa but how competent I am not sure, which is why I'm trying to get some feedback here.

Found this old thread and was wondering if anyone knows of a reliable Alfa workshop in Johor.  Asking for a friend who is getting a Malaysian plate 147 and needs to find a regular mechanic. So far it seems that most of the specialists are further up north.

Thanks in advance

Hey bro, look up motorpassion permas jaya

Thanks for the response.

Yes, Motorpassion was mentioned much earlier in this thread by someone looking for feedback, but I don't see any comments good or bad on this place from other Alfa owners.

Have you used them before for your Alfa ? I happened to chance upon another Malaysian Alfa owner and he told me he goes to a place in Kluang.
