Which insurance is the cheapest and is more detail?

I meant one shot pay for 2 years. Aviva and AIG offer this option and it is about ~$200 cheaper per year (compared to the 1-year plan), and ~$400 over the 2 years.

I did comparison.. but seem a little discount only... base on the quotes i have... likely going for MSIG or Renew with Aviva...

are excess a trend nowadays?

 

my current insurer, NTUC is only around 1.2k, with zero excess for 10% NCD

 

i tried gobear, motor insurance and seems all insurers are quoting with excess..

My conditions are as below

NCD protected of 50% 

NO coverage for Malaysia 

Only cover myself and my brother as drivers 

Must go back to Mercedes workshop for repair work 

Deductible $600

Windscreen deductible at $100 

I am surprise, given my good track record and loyalty with them for the 3rd years, this is the pricing.

What a lousy experience w QBE. 

 

I called them yday.  The receptionist took my contact and transferred my line to the department.

 

Waited 20 mins online just to get the voicemail message , the user is not available. 

 

Till now no one get back to me .   Just called them and was told, we are having lunch , please call back 2pm. 

 

They are not very keen in my business apparently. 

 

On the other hand, I filled up form on DirectAsia site, and got a call just 10 mins ago.  

 

Too bad they cant beat Budget direct based on my requirements
