Will the windows spoil after 6 months?

to be fair, i have seen protons so beat up as if it just came back from war and it is still going strong. Some conti cars cant even pass 4 years reliability.

window spoil?

didnt one of Merc's S class or something got a window cannot close properly design fault years ago, right out from factory?

rule of thumb is,

the less gadgets a car has, the less problem it'll have....

cannot compare Proton with VW....

Proton is such a basic car, even if it's darn old, (like those 1993 Saga's, it's still running in Malaysia's road)....

i don't see any 1993 VW's around....

even Mercedes/ BMW....

so where are the old past 10 yrs conti cars without much gadgets?

I am not comparing VW with proton, just irritated by some with such close mind, am showing him not expensive or made in angmo coutnry will always be the best, even it is just a simple window....

VW is a much better car compared to proton no doubts about it.

well,

to each his own opinion....

these 2 brands appeal to different people and different needs....

its ok, u didnt get my hidden message.

I am not comparing brands......

even good brands got glitches wherever they might come from. so its unfair to pass judgment before something new is starting. Even if it is made in Malaysia, its still VW's technology and design, I don see any wrong with it.

peace [laugh]

speaking about VW,

i actually prefer VW over their parent company, Audi....

i've actually asked friends who know nuts about cars, whether they've heard about Audi....

100% of them actually feedback to me, if whether Audi is a china car or not....

Audi....the name sounds so cheap....

lol....

VW has penetrated china and look at the vw car there, so common and affordable.... [thumbsup]

hope we could get it here with reasonable price after they cost down with proton "assembled model"...... anwyay, vw is simply a bread and butter car which should be price at bread and butter price....... [:p]

Too bad. We can't avoid any joker to come here to make baseless comment.

BTW, the plant in Pekan is currently assembling cars for Honda and MB.

Quality issue?? Should have la but at a very small %.

But so far, all cars assembled in Malaysia is for domestic market only, if I am not mistaken. Perhaps, VW could be the first to export to Singapore.

all their cars now have that common identity face....

boring....

I thought that was the marketing strategies?

So from far u will know its VW or Merc or Audi...

Just like Rolex, so many years but still hangs on to its "classic" designs
