I was also pondering on that choice 1 month+ ago. Went with XM1, no regrets since. ^_^

Gives good confidence in the wet. Noise does get abit noisier after the 1000km mark, but it's something i can live with. No difference in FC though. (using GR 80 previously)

No doubt about it's XM1.

 

In this case it doesn't matter MIT or MIJ.

 

This is a comparision of tyre technologies.

Got this XM1 change today at $108 nett per pc for 195/60/15 plus installation and balancing.

 

Production year 2710.

Mic XM1 Thai factory but French made(French people working there in Thai Mic factory)

Yokohama ES501 Jap factory but Thai made(they employed Thai production worker).

I used XM1 b4. A very good value for $ tire.

 

Gives good grip in dry/wet & noise is acceptable but most important, it is very lasting. [thumbsup]
