No need pro. there is a very slick remote given to you whenever you purchase a set of apple TV. They wanna make this a standalone product. So doesn't need a apple iPhone to do the magic.

 

Whereas for the content, you can airplay it, which mean using your iPhone or iPad or Mac to mirrorlink the content to the big big screen. there is also quite alot of tv channel/content is inside the apple TV, but we are not in that states so most of it we cannot watch. But you can subscribe a VPN to solve this problem.

 

I don't have an apple TV btw. hahha. my PS3 still works like wonder. hahha.
