Hi all,

Just wondering which petrol / ron grade type do you guys use for your Honda Jazz.

I will be collecting my vehicle 1.3A Jazz LX soon and am quite curious.

So which ron number/grade do you use and how has it been for your vehicle's health? What do you recommend etc.

Will be curious to see the different views in this especially for cars which have been more than 3 years in comparison.

Thanks

Have being using 95 for half a year before changing to 98.

Different in FC is negligible , probably better by 0.5~1 , my average for 95 around 13~14 and 98 around 14~14.8. Had my best fc using 98 at 15.6. Both caltex. 98 have better pick up than 95 thus smoothly ride overall. I would prefer the 98 to 95.

Price difference isn't alot since i only pump 3~4 times a month. Which is at most 20 bucks a month difference between 95 and 98. So up to you to decide.

I believe 95 will be adeqaute for your car.

Actually 92 is enough for Jazz/ Fit

Most JDM models are able to take 92...

But i would suggest 98

Yea, I think so too. But I am collecting my ride over the weekend, so will also check with the agent again.

IMO, start with 95 first, get used to the power/performance and then upgrade to 98

I intend to do this for now as well. Thanks =)

SE told me 95 enough.

So I just pump 95.

There is no point to really pump 98, unless your pocket is rich.

All over the world....people are pumping 92-95 without any problem.

Sometimes I feel that local car owners always think that Singapore's car engine are specially tuned to accpet higher octane fuel and therefore need to pump 98.

Anyway its just like buying LV wallet or pay more for the same food in food court. To each its own, peace of mind.
