Why he did this during the actual run, if during training I can understand.

Answer from the horse's mouth. Remember his nick is Ah Siao, his rational different from most of us.

Wonder why he wear 2 trackers? My Xiaomi only accurate for 1st few km.... After that haywired. In the end clocked 23.68km.

My friend using Garmin was good.

Ps.. how you get such a clean photo without those ugly watermarks?

In trail, Garmin will overstate the distance.  It happens to a couple of my friends.

Same race but their distance is about 1.5km longer than mine.

My 1 and only 1 Suunto watch was bought in July 2013.

Can still at least run for 6 hours before charging.

Previously, i had Garmin was last less than 5 hours before i gave it away.

i had Garmin cyclometer previously.  Gave it away 4 years ago as it was laggy.

In addition, i TL Garmin for shifting my data into China w/o asking me (when i was living in Beijing).

Route go thru CBD area is always poor signal. My coros distance is off too by more than 1km, and it's the CBD area where I see the signal gone haywired.

Photos are not mine, theyr are from FB pages who cover the races. You can check them out and see if you can find yourself. I found mine in one of them.

less than 1km is quite normal.  The way we run and the way it was measured are different.
