Are you serious ? Not joking ? Cause ur making me feel proud of my altis now ^_^

Compared to my previous G9, the altis feels so sloooooow.

The altis's century sprint timing i think seem like a century to me.

i don't have a privilege of driving this imprezza before.

but from the way u put it, really sounds HEAVY.

1.5R auto weigh 1,325kg with torque @ 142Nm/3200rpm

Comparing with 9.5G Altis 1,150kg with torque of 150Nm , this is really under power.

Looks like 2008 Impreza 1.5R hatchback really tht bad?! The car design not bad ma, how come pick-up so bad?!

cos has an small cc engine that has to feed a awd system compared to the conventional fwd or rwd.(ie power divided by 4 wheels as oppose to 2 wheels)

This system also translate to additional weight the car has to carry

plus made worse by the automatic transmission's torque converter that caused the loss of power.

I vote for Chery A5 or A168 as well...suitable for extremely slow and steady drivers!

OK, here's the final verdict (I'll be happy to be corrected but I think this is it):

Chery T11, which according to sgcarmart website info, the 0 to 100 time is 18 seconds!!!

I think this should be a clear cut winner-Chery T11...

Even Proton Exora with a 1.6 engine+heavy body wins the Chery T-11...

Define slow in term of how much u step on ur accelerator? Some ppl don't ram.. Fast car also become slow leh..

For me i seldom ram more then 2.5k sometimes less then 2k only and my car is only 1.3 during moving off on a traffic light and on going up slope the most i ram is 3k.. Unless u drive most of the 1.5/1.6 on the same driving style for all the cars then u will know which is the slowest..

Plus if upsize to 17". Cannot even catch a L200 pickup within 10 lamp post.

Cos I am a good example.... Ha Ha Ha.....

Based on the 1.5 and 1.6 cars I have driven, I find the following cars* slow in pick up.

Nissan sunny

Geely ck

Suzuki apv

Kia cerato "04 model

Peugeot 405

Hyundai stellar

Tabolt solara

Fiat 131 tc

Opel astra '93 model

Ford cortina

Lada niva

*taking toyota corolla altis 1.6 as a benchmark

Kudos to you....U really single out all the 14 sec to accelerate 0-100km/h for some really old 70s,80s and yr2000 cars..
