Reaching my 55k soon (done major 50k at C&C already)

 

Thinking of leaving C&C since warranty over.

 

Any bros here with CVT colt turbo can rec a good workshop that knows our ride well?

 

Although I am not looking to pay peanuts but I also dun wanna kenna chop like by C&C.

 

Just a good honest workshop who knows the CVT Colt Turbo well.

hihi.. just curious.. how much is the major 50k servicing at C&C??

Racetech @ Sinming. Many CVR & WRX owners service their rides here. Not cheap but definitely cheaper than Chop & Chop.

Last time I heard, they closed shop for a while. dunno if it's open now anot.

about 1200

walau !! what they do for 1.2k charges [confused] was looking for a used Colt CVR at the moment, may i know is this car maintenance on the high side ? [sweatdrop]

haha changed a few things lah. like brakes and stuffs.

 

I think from my records my avg maintenance at c&c is 200 to 400 bucks.

 

To be fair, i work in tuas so stuffs get worn out faster.

Can Racetech do major servicing as well or die die have to go back C&C for those kind?

yep they do major services.

 

Quite a no of the CVR and CPT owners I know last time did the timing belt change (80k km service) there. [;)]

Hi Bro,

 

I've been with this shop (opened by my poly friend). King's Auto at Sin Ming Autocare for many years.

 

Forgot the detail of the address as I always go there directly (at 2nd storey, first shop after the ramp).

 

My poly friend is Alex (96956517).

 

I find his pricing reasonable and his servicing ok.

 

Anyway, dun mistake that I receive any commission for this. Just helping only.

I think TS meant that he only want to know WS that can service his colt turbo engine. Not just any random WS that does good servicing. ws that knows the tricks of his car

It's just a bread and butter car engine with snail right? what tricks are there to know? probably a turbo engine specialist will do fine

I have been to his place v good if you are driving normal family car wont kenna carrot. But sports cars i am not sure.

I am planning to get a 10year old Colt version R with a CVT gearbox, may i know any issues with this vehicle? what should i take note as this is my first time owing aturbo car
need advice urgently.
