Rayleigh 6th Gear March 22, 2018 Share March 22, 2018 i don't really think so. My water flosser is becoming a white elephant. It's really messy to use, have to use in shower and sometimes u can injure your gum cos i guess most of us don't really use it in front of the mirror. Should use with your mouth close. Use a few more times to get the hang of it. ↡ Advertisement
Lala81 Hypersonic March 22, 2018 Share March 22, 2018 I find it useful but recently i experienced sensitive teeth, i was wondering if it is due to the water flosser. i have a half emerged wisdom tooth on my upper gum. I used the water flosser on that area and my gum was inflammed for a few days. If i don't use the water flosser, bo taichi.
Neutrino Supercharged March 22, 2018 Share March 22, 2018 (edited) I find the water flosser to be brilliant. If I floss with thread and then use inter dental brush afterwards when I then use water flosser still a lot of food and maybe plaque is removed. For me I can't praise water flosser enough. Kb27 Supersonic March 22, 2018 Share March 22, 2018 (edited) I don’t know man But it is a lot easier to use If it is a lot easier to use, then will use more As long as you're flossing, it's ok. Actually, for me, I've been using the thread floss for a long time and one particular tooth always seems to leave a bad smell on the thread. I tried cleaning that tooth for a long time, but the bad smell comes and goes. After a couple of years, I got a terrible toothache, every time I eat food or drink. I thought it was sensitive teeth, loss of enamel. Bought a lot of those toothpaste and use it in fervour. Until I can't stand the pain anymore, I went to the dentist. He use an X-ray and found the cause was due to that tooth decayed, leaving the bad smell on the floss. The decay was on the side, that's why I can't see it. But the floss pulls out the bad smell. It was then extracted. So the thread floss may not be a bad thing. If I had acted on the bad smell much earlier, that tooth could have been saved. Lala81 Hypersonic July 25, 2018 Share July 25, 2018 Update. Went to dentist yesterday. Generally quite ok, i last went about 8-9 months ago, had some gingivitis post scaling but now better. Way less painful than the last time definitely. Think i better go 6 monthly and do more actual flossing. I don't really like the water flosser i got. Feel like it damages my gums more than help it lol The TB replacement heads i bought fit just nice. No need to grease up.

I think cos my tooth is only partially emerged so if i use the flosser there, it just hurts the gum there. End up i feel sore next day over there. When you feel sore, don’t give upGive it a couple of days to rest and don’t floss Let it heal it Then use the flosser again Sure to sore again But over many rounds of healing and soring, the gums will grow stronger I also tried to use my finger to dig clean But it really isn’t working I am just so glad that someone invented the electric water flosser ↡ Advertisement
