Yeah no big deal lah. I bet SG's reply will be to reiterate what they've said in the news... that the info in wikileaks are basically unofficial, so it's as if they don't exist. And furthermore, what was actually said could've been very different, and wikileaks only reflect the americans' own assessments and opinions about the conversations they had with SG officials.

Malaysia is basically wasting time doing all this protesting, and they know it. All this "wayang" is strictly for domestic consumption only. We know it, and they know it.

On the other hand, it's interesting how SG has managed to provoke both the malaysian ruling party, as well as their opposition, together. Great achievement! [laugh]

edit: just read on CNA

"In Singapore, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) clarified that specific complaints raised by Malaysia on comments allegedly made by senior Singapore diplomats leaked by WikiLeaks did not tally with its own records.

The MFA added that one purported meeting did not even take place."

Its good to see how worthy our million dollar ministers are capable of handling such testy situations.

Don't let it be the old man or prince to come out to talk hor.

I hope to see the president or other ministers to come out to prove their million dollar worth by defusing the situation!

If can defuse, I will support them when they call for my mandate!

1) ridiculous public housing and car prices

2) jammed roads and sardine packed public transport

3) inflation

4) rising cost of living

5) foreigners taking away low to middle class jobs

6) schools invaded by FT offspring

Myanmar junta 'dense': MM

SINGAPORE - A CLASSIFIED US document released by WikiLeaks cites Singapore statesman Lee Kuan Yew as calling Myanmar's junta leaders 'stupid' and 'dense.'

A confidential briefing on a 2007 conversation between former Prime Minister Lee and US officials was released by WikiLeaks this week.

It quoted Mr Lee as saying that dealing with Myanmar's military regime was like 'talking to dead people.'

Ambassador Patricia L. Herbold wrote that Mr Lee said China had the most influence over Myanmar's leadership of any foreign country.

Mr Lee also says China is worried the country could 'blow up,' which would threaten Chinese investments.

In past days, Singapore has already been insisting on its policy of not commenting on leaks. -- AP

Malaysia just shoot letter, in this case, would Myanmar shoot bullets instead [rifle]
