Toyota Camry JDM vs AD

Both quite similarly priced. JDM slightly higher road tax.

Other than AD warranty, but since after 5 years, no more warranty coverage. Which one will you chose?

Both are having the same engine capacity, how to have different road tax? The road tax for both are the same at $1638 per year. What I see is AD's model has higher OMV, while JDM one has a slightly higher COE, right?

Still didnt get any replies yet.

 

Both out of warranty. So AD factor might be less meaningful now.

Problem might be availability of spare parts which AD models will have more stock compared to JDM.

styling wise JDM is nicer..different headlamps and taillights..

 

JDM uses handbrake..AD is foot brake..

 

AD camry comes everythin factory fitted..leather seats and floormats r the same colour for all regardless wat exterior colour u choose..

 

JDM has no foglamps as its illiegal in japan..has no in build stereo as the same as most other JDM models..but its better as u can freely install any sound system u wan..can even install in build GPS and reverse camera and dvd touchscreen..

 

JDM camry from PI..hence price is always negotiable and assesories also can choose..

Haha, sorry bro. Looking at second hand car. New cars are killer price now.

I dont think the dealers are going to add anything new to it.

 

2k difference in OMV might not make a lot of difference.

In terms of depreciation, AD one will cost $600 more per year than JDM. $3600 more depreciation over 6 years.

The american version of Camry for me is nicer then JDM .

true..new cars now r killer..used cars actually also not that cheap..the same model used car which i bought b4 the coe hike now cost 8k more..

 

break it down to months left plus interest..not as cheap as u think..

the AD styling is catered to SEA taste where bigger and more chrome is better. JDM is more modest.
