after installing, was it more difficult to close the doors?

 

Hi,

 

I just installed the door seal last week and have to apply abit more pressure than usual to close the door.

But I reckon after one or two months when the rubber get season, it'll be back to normal.

At least now, I don't hear the Bang sound when closing the door. Haha

Most importantly, not so much of wind noise when traveling at 110km/h.

Hi, bro Hondatoyota, I booked just before last bid with NG package. Rebate is 38K. BM bid 49K+ for me. But I can only collect my car by May bcos there is no stock in SG, currently. 

BTW, which version u booked, classic or elegance.

Hi bro,

 

The wind noise at 110km/h happens to my Wish too.

I went to SGgarage to install 3M Door Seal and it's cut down alot of the wind noise.

You can purchase the door seal and DIY.

It's quite simple to install but I paid $10 for installation as I'm not a hand on guy.

Anyone tried the CAN BUS OBD auto door lock adapter? I saw it from Taobao and Aliexpress, it can do auto door lock when car move. I tried to search this thread but couldn't find much info. My questions are,

 

1) Does it work for BM wish or Pi Wish?

 

2) By using such OBD adapter, would it void warranty?

Sure...the images were downloaded from the web.

One roll is enough for four dooors.

Hi bro,

 

My wish is 2015 model and consumption is 12.5km/L...65% highway drive.

I assume I can get higher if I didn't change my set of rim to 17".

I have spoken to other Wish owner of same batch and they are getting 850km per tank.(80% Highway)

the highest I achieve so far (driving within SGP) is 680km with 48l or about 14.5km/l.  To hit 800km, you need >16.5km/l..

I am not installing the roof mounted blower but I know someone installed it on his Toyota Sienta. Damage about 220.

Total is $110.6 including leather seats and 3M. No other freebies.

 

I considered sienta, freed, mobilo, BMW GT, Odysey and Noah:.  

 

Family doesn't like the look of sienta.

 

Freed - only SG vehicles is selling this and decided to give it a miss

 

Mobilo - the interior space is okay but without cliimate control.  I don't like the look

 

BMW GT: space is really tight.  Don't like the noisy diesel engine

 

Odysey : great car but too ex

 

Noah: I like it but family doesn't like

 

Mazda 5: okay but put off by the 50% 5 years compulsory loan as this will add to the cost of the car.

 

Wish ride is okay.

Agree about your views about conti car. I have driven altis and camry. Not a single breakdown and decent fuel consumption; but i think toyota drivability will lose out to honda, mazda and conti.. but i stick to toyota as i do want any headache. The power of the wish which i test drove was also extremely decent compared to my current 2.4 camry
