my army days i seen a officer so low with body kit that cant even clamp.

 

ended my CO pissed up, say no clamp no rest. ended 5 people lifted the car side then clamp then let go, wah lao crack sound :)

Yes, there are ways. One of the best way is to make a metal cover for the wheels. cover up your entire wheel arch, left only the base of the wheels. This way they can't clamp your car at all.

is it mandatory that they clamp at the driver's side? say they clamp on the other side, and you approach the car from the driver side not knowing its clamped.. and u drive off. Wheel and fender damaged.. how?

change to spare wheel, take the clamp and and the wheel in the boot, go back slowly settle.
