Doubt China has the capability to produce a true stealth aircraft at such a short time from scratch while the US took years to produce the F-117. Nothing New coming from these shameless Chink copy-cats, and I bet they bought or better still, stole the blueprints for the Mig from the Russians and got this bird.. Inside I will bet they are using the J-11 electronics and Flight control systems ( all Russian Su-27 copies!) and engines are definitely from Russia (Su-27 engines) as the Chinks have not mastered the engine Mfg capability. Vulcann 6th Gear January 12, 2011 Share January 12, 2011 (edited) Unlike F117s, B2s & F22s, the exhausts of this supposedly stealth jet are not masked & thus not "invisible".. Plus it is a really big plane, judging from the folks crowding it in earlier pics. Wonder if it is really considered a stealth fighter..or just a make-believe stealth jet. If it goes in service, more like they will be deployed as bombers... Looks-wise, quite chio even if some attributed some "pirating" copying of F22 and T50.. Then again, from a country which not too long ago was just a laid-back sleeping giant, the strides she has made since really very impressive. Its BUY from Russia then REFIT with Ukranian engines and other electronics.. and BUY Russian fighters and helis to equip the air wing.. So technically these Chinks are just ASSEMBLING a carrier. Going forward will be mass produce copy cat copies of this carrier.. much like Chery QQ vs Chev Sparks! Exhaust very hard to mask bro... the heat from the exhaust can be reduced by injecting chemicals to the exhaust (like B2), but not masked. Can mask engine blades by changing the intakes shapes. Big plane can also be stealth, its the skin, shape etc that minimise radar returns.. The way i see this is like its a X plane, to explore the new techs n try to impress others along the way..
