Anyone tried this brand before?

Local brand, relatively unknown, unless the price is really good, then I'll consider.

I have a comparison look at sys 1, 12000 BTU avolta is $999 and gaincity Panasonic is $1099. Panasonic is obviously more established brand and priced quite competitively. If you wait for some offer, price can be lower. So I'll probably look out for better brands at offer price.

Savings of how much compared to a trusted cap branded one?

Yah. If pittance in savings, why give oneself extra worries.
I need my Aircon to sleep. Don’t have the time to call and make appointments to fix.

personally i think the seller or installer is more important then the brand,

for example i get to know this boss who do ac repair and service. he serving my home ac for many years already ,

when i change new system, i get him to do for me also. let him know my prefer brand etc etc and ask his advice.

needless to say he charge me higher then what i can get ownself outside. by a little bit only .

he bao all the warrently, i dun need care, any thing wrong i contact him. when come to servicing time i dun need worry stranger come into my house with my mum alone only.

i see AC system replacement as a service plus product instead of  a product only

i

this local brand is promising.... supported by IE singapore.

pfffft.... supported by whichever local clown, i also don't care. i vote with my wallet and time.

give me 5year warranty i also don't want. i don't have the time to sit around and wait for someone to come fix.

will always rather pay for something known and reliable. for $100 difference is totally not worth.

but maybe you try and be the guinea pig. 😂

Will wait for it to be proven before I’ll take the plunge with my money and time.

slightly off topic, but i was glad i was not conned into fixing gas water heaters, by the citygas promotions 11-12years ago.

read about so many funny issues with the units in the end.

kept to a joven 25L heater and so far so good after 11.5years.

11.5 years is impressive. I replaced my central heater twice within 10 years.

There's a sacrificial anode in the heater, which prevents corrosion and should be replaced as soon as it wears out.

But I don't think anyone here does it. Most here just wait till the heater dies and get a new one.

Oh. Never knew an anode existed.

anyway my parents place was an everhot unit and used for 22years. Changed in the end as a precaution.
