Limxiaoming 2nd Gear January 22, 2011 Share January 22, 2011 why dont just take the lazy way out? leave the whole car there for rim repair n live without a car for few days? how long can rim touchup be. Worst come to worst rent a car for 3 days
Thefear Clutched January 22, 2011 Share January 22, 2011 why dont just take the lazy way out? leave the whole car there for rim repair n live without a car for few days? how long can rim touchup be. Worst come to worst rent a car for 3 days TS already said a week, probably due to 4 rims or long queue at the shop... Some shops also do not have space for u to leave ur car there to idle one week. I know of ppl who can't live w/o car for even few hrs due to nature of job. Lastly, buying those steel stock rims is even cheaper than renting a car for ONE day. So unless TS got 1 week leave or have many many $$$ to burn, ur idea may be the lazy way out but definitely not the most practical or cost effective bro... Kelpie 2nd Gear January 24, 2011 Author Share January 24, 2011 The shop where you are doing the touch up is not providing a set of spare wheels for you? Haven't try asking. As I've not done rim repair for years. I read from previous threads that Sze Kang is a good rim repairer so I wonder whether they do T-loan wheels for temporary use. I'm not in Singapore now.
