DCT are good for spirited drive, in stop start traffic it is normal to be jerky.

My friend and neighbor try to persuade me to keep away from VW car. Now I deeply regret.

For a better life, KEEP away from VW.

1. DSG gearbox, New version still Jerk!

jerks are part of the nature of the gearbox. same system used in Ferrari Lambo etc

emission affects only diesel cars. latest news is bmw may also be investigated and VW personnel involved have been charged and jailed.

vw is totally unreliable, dont know why people still wants to buy this brand, should stay away for a peace of mind.

if it's totally unreliable, every single vw car would be breaking down. stats of breaking down are higher cos there are simply more vw cars in sg. but the issues faced are seen in many conti brands here too. u want peace of mind, buy jap

Hi! I want to know, are you satisfied with the VW Golf?

If you are keen to buy the new Golf, heard it is selling at $99,999 with 5 yrs warranty & 3 yrs svcs. Seems that the AD is getting people to be confident with VW cars again.

Buy a Toyota Altis if you want absolute reliability. You won’t go wrong . It may be a boring car but thaiyota will Ensure your Altis will start without fail for the 10 year CoE lease Edited by No_worries

Nice and comfortable ride.. until Mechatronic fault at 20k :(

no lah, this is wear and tear: every 20K change mechatronic/some other clutch thingies,

even if these changes are not mentioned in the owner's manual ok... :XD:

I would anytime trade how a car drives than to reliability.

Car is not just simply a point A to B for me.

but when there are comparable drivability cars to choose from?

no denying it's a good car ('cept for the dry DSG issues) though.
