Turbocharged

Depreciation is abt right for a 2 owner car. Mileage is not specified so I imagine it is quite high and may have some minor problems here and there but overall I think it is a good deal for a short term buy..

Hi all,

When I look at this used car ad for Lexus GS300, I was rubbing my eyes.

Isn't the price too good to be true? Any typo error?

http://www.sgcarmart.com/used_cars/info.ph...767&DL=1035

It's this low because it's been submerged during the 1. Great Singapore Flood + 2. Had a serious accident before? Just kidding! [:)]

Priced this low due to age & mileage. Lexus is very reliable & won't give you fatique when you travel 160 - 240km/hr in NS highway over long distance.

is it cheap for a 5.5 year old car?

the thing is, I dun often see Lexus GS 300 going at this price of 70+K.

But for Lexus IS250, I can still see it going at sub 80K range.

What do u think of this deal? Is it worth to buy?

very tempting.

seriously 77k for a 5 year old car is cheap?

maybe TS should go for an average brand new car like the accord or teana for 130k instead

If you can stomach the 3litre tax and costly parts replacement, by all mean bro cos its the highest depreciating jap brand.

3 litre road tax is still manageable, considering the power one gets from the engine.

But the part on costly parts replacement, how true is it for lexus?

Highest depreciating part is expected since it's luxury brand.

maybe different people think differently.

when i first saw the ad, I could not believe that a lexus mid-sized luxury car like GS300 can got for sub 80K which is cheaper than many brand new Jap cars nowadays.

If I buy accord or teana, I would have to fork out about 50K more which is lots of money.

In my reckoning, quite a good deal, that's why I wanna seek other's opinions here.

Comparing with another 5 years old IS250 which I saw last week in SGcarmart selling at $80K, I would this this GS300 is cheap. [:p]
