was thinking that Tiguan could be a good and not high priced mid size family car which wife should also be able to handle.

never tried VW before. but seems quite good quality for the money

any comments from current owners and ex owners?

What happened to your pursuit of second-hand X5 and X6?

I prefer Ford Kuga's design to Tiguan although the driver's seat is quite small and its interior leaves a lot to be desired.

throttle is a very practical guy, if it become not affordable, he will downgrade the badge.

X5 or X6 more for me + family

Tiguan is more for wife + family....

I'm thinking of Tiguan now and I can perhaps add a secondhand 997 later on.

OK, I'll check out Kuga...thx

Well, not a question of affordability here.

I need to come to terms with myself for spending so much on a car.

Sometimes, I can be too conservative for my own good. I recognise that

just came back from VW.

The Tiguan 2.0 TSi is a basic mini SUV.

Car feels tightly built and leathers are so-so

Instrumentation is sufficient and overall gives a fuss free feel.

Very suitable as a thrash around B&B Suv for the family.

Saw the new Passat CC.

Thats probably my best pick if I wasnt such a badge whore.

but at $190k, it's daylight robbery

The new Tiguan has already been launched. What VW Singapore is selling now is the old one. The new one looks like a baby Touareg, with VW's new corporate style.

The Passat CC is also due for replacement. Never mind the cut throad prices. But imagine how much the Mercedes CLS350/ 500 would be priced like.
