Our govt can say all they want about how great they've been to Singaporeans and how we cannot survive with a 2 party system. But the fact is what makes American great is the fact that when things go horribly wrong, like in the Bush era, the people have a choice to choose their future leaders. He represents the will of the American people, unlike a system like ours where electoral boundaries are drawn and redrawn, threats are laid out and the will of the govt is stronger than the will of Singaporeans. U turns are made whenever election nears. We're getting nice letters, changes in policies and i hope for the first time, S'poreans will know how things don't always stay the same after elections. Here's an open letter to all.
