DIY repair and respray rims

Any bros interested to DIY repair and respray their rims....I 'm thinking to do so...that's why looking for khakis.

 

If any experienced bros willing to help will be most welcomed! [;)]

Meanwhile....any bros which have successful experience of this....please advise or join us.

 

A few question...which kind of sandpaper we going to use?

 

Is Primer coat needed? Where to get aerosol primer coat?

 

Any suggestion on which brand and where to get good high temperature aerosol spray?

Meanwhile i will check out Tonita at Ubi...they are distributor for many kinds of spray paint related products.

OK I wil b conducting a course on "How to repair n re-spray your rims".

i am interested but DIY?

 

- need to take out the tyres from the rims

- spray all 4 rims

- wait for it to dry

- etc

should not be a issue if come to my place

the mscp on sunday is free parking and no one come to check that day

we can have lunch while waiting for it to dry

can do shopping if u want to, time will just fly while it dry

[laugh]

interesting, i did spray my rims myself before, just a light sand to make sure the surface is smooth then whack nippon flat black, so far running on road around 2 months already and no issue other then paint chips around the lug nut area.

 

can join you guys as im thinking of changing color again! ^_^
