Many will pop champaign if OP clinches one GRC !

BG Yeo told reporters during a press interview that he hope all P@P candidates would win their contest, but admitted that it was difficult to predict any poll outcome.

Reporters asked him how he would feel if the P@P lost Aljunied GRC, he relied simply : "Then the people have decided and we must respect their wishes" He added his and his fellow MPs had assumed from the start that WP would field their star team in Aljunied GRC.

By the way, BG Yeo was quoted by Zaobao that he would not be shock if PAP will to lose a GRC in the coming election. ( 若 失 一 集 选 区 我 不 震 惊)

Could this be first GRC lost for P@P? Unlike previous GEs, it seems that P@P is not all confident in GRC Contest this time round.

It is not difficult to predict that more and more OPs will win election as time goes.. Somes reasons are:

1. Quality of OP has improved by leaps and bounds (just like graduates are everywhere at work now)

2. Younger Singaporeans are willing to take "risk" for multi-party govt (and they're not stupid to listen to everything gahmen say)

3. Flaws and arroagance of certain ministers are too obvious to ignore (Mas Selamat, HDB, 1st class govt 1st class pay)

4. Older generations who lived through the LKY eras has gradually passed on.. the young ones don't give a d*** about 60s

Let the best man do the job... and stop re-drawing the bl**dy election boundaries.. *si beh chow*

yes, you got it right here.... even if not this election.. it will be the next, or the one after that.

There is an ancient Chinese story about an old man who wanted to move a mountain that was blocking the path to his house.

He was called crazy by his neighbour, but the old man preservered ... if he could not complete the task in his lifetime, his son would carry on;

and if his son could not complete in his lifetime, his grandson would carry on.... and on and on, until, by golly - the friggin mountain would be moved!

Yep there is such a story.

The chinese idiom is:

Turbocharged

Actually for the Opp to win more seats, they should first consolidate all these little opposition parties into one big party. Why so many opposition parties? What SDP, SPP, Reform, NSP, WP, etc. All group into one party so that their talents are obvious.

Getting good people to join Opps is already difficult, and yet they still separate them into so many parties.

To get more seats from PAP, the very first thing they have to do is to consolidate strength. Otherwise, it will be another 2006.
