Just curious.

May I know who dictates how much water is being dispense for $0.20?

HDB or PUB? Is it stated anywhere?

I believe its time based.. its getting shorter now I feel. Last time 40¢ enough, now 60¢ at least... and must have washing strategy if using hose..

The same  - 20¢ for 1 pail ( 8 gal )

A car park in SengKang used to have coin operated water dispensing at 20 cents.

Then they upgraded to cash card payment.

It added 7% GST to the cashless payment.

It was heavily vandalised for the 7%/

Today it is happily back to 20 cents operated machine.

We all thanked the guy who diligently vandalised it for months over the past few years to wake the town council up.

Today we are able to wash our cars happily.

However 20 cents yields 1 big pail and half a small pail.

As I tried out at a block opposite the street, 20 cents yields 1 big pail ( FULL ) and 2 smaller pails ( FULL ) and I've ran out of pails everytime I used that machine, and I believe the Sengkang water dispensing is soon going to suffer another round of vadalism.

Town council won't refuse to install any washing bay one, because will get complained by at least 500 car owners.

Yah. Staying Rivevale area. Cash card go back to coin machine. That make me have to keep all the 20cts coin for car wash. But the good things is it is 10cts cheaper compare to cash card and more water. 1big, 1small pail full. And I am using a hose and can spray longer.

Turbocharged

Washing Bay cash card machine type always spoilt.

Sometimes have to wait 1-3 weeks to repair.

I complaint to town council, they say under contract, cannot change vendor.

Really sucks thumb....

The best is the old type 20cents machine. Most durable...

Punggol side most have changed from the cash card to coin, think much more reliable, and can get about 2.5 pails compared to the cash card machine
