I believe its time based.. its getting shorter now I feel. Last time 40¢ enough, now 60¢ at least... and must have washing strategy if using hose..

I've chked it's 20c for 12L of water. So depends on how many litres u wan.

Guys, any idea how much litre of waters are dispense from these HDB washing bay?  I know it cost $0.20 but how much water can it fetch?

Cannot seem to find the info from HDB.

To wat I know .20c is for 12L of water. It may vary from MSCP to MSCP.

This 20 cents is sufficient for me to wash my car fully.  I can clean my door sills, engine bay and wheel hubs at the same time.

Self-washing is a lot cleaner than washing at petrol station ($10/wash) or by a foreign worker at my place ($5/wash).

I don't need to queue to wash or get scratches from the dirty clothes.

Anyone connect hose to the 20 cent tap directly to rinse car? How long a hose should one get? And where to get hose lock? Thanks.

Even another 20 cent more is no issue , the convenience provided alone worth more than that. I saw people getting their maids to bring full bucket of water from their house to basement car park  , I dont understand why.

There are a few types of car owners.

1. Go professional car grooming/spa

2. Go outside car wash

3. Ownself wash car

4. Bring water from upstairs to wash car

5. Use rain to wash

Maybe it's the same as how those car washers at the HDB MSCPs?

I like number 5. Although need heavy rain. Light rain will only make it worst..

I have always been curious that if the dispenser stops by volume or time for every 20c inserted?

The New car wash system at HDB MSCP. Its based on timing. 752973053_Carwash.thumb.jpeg.e030924059918181cdef0fb5a9b7b6fd.jpeg
