Why will you buy a compact Continental car?

Nowadays, many car brands are bringing in smaller models, ie. Audi A1, Volkswagen Polo GTI etc.

 

More people are turning to compact Continental cars, instead of buying Japanese/Korean family sedans.

 

What do you think are the reasons for the popularity in compact Continental cars?

Now conti small cars are super value for money!!

The safety features and engine technology....you can only dream in a Jap car of the same price.

my answer is i won't buy a compact car if i can help it, continental or not.....becos basic physics laws still apply in accidents, n to be better protected, i'd rather my family n me r in a heavier, sturdier car.

Sure can pack, but in terms of comfort, the jap luxury range is better compared to a compact conti. I think compact continentals are cater more towards the driver instead of the passengers.
