Yes, Malaysia ranks higher for low cost and high standard of living for the wealthy.

Australia's tax is high and few things are cheap although the standard of living and quality of life is good, i however seldom see it on top 10 list of countries to migrate to or live in.

Surprising many Eastern European countries are on the list.

yes u can have big cars n home there but your dignity can never be the same level as theirs...if u asked me i would rather live in a small place n b the master of my own fate

Does your cousin, driving a porky and staying in a big house with swimming pool, get discriminated against often?

I know there is a very tough glass ceiling for Asians working in corporate but it is not insurmountable. In bigger cities, i don't feel discriminated against in public.

Australia is so much nicer than malaysia lah.
Lol.

The public infrastructure, how to compare. Unless u are really talking about rural areas where it's maybe roughly the same.
Even simple thing like walking pavements.

If you have US$20m, you can live like a king anywhere, if you have a couple of millions, Malaysia is better. You pay less taxes and don't need to walk on pavements.

Weather wise, it is obvious which is better.
