it is the pc board

If got funny sound mean up lorry already.

If got funny sound how?

if there is no sound

it means the motor of the harddisk is dead

and still could be your pcb

anyway get it check

does it is have a warranty

sometimes even if it past warranty

the company may still repair for you for free

try your luck

HDD Crash, still can recovery, not 100% for sure.

If under warranty, some 3 years, (check your warranty card and also receipt)

the manufacturer will do a one to one exchange. And no, they will not recover your data.

In many cases the data has been lost due to a “logical” problems and a software solution can be used to recover files. It is only if you

drive has physical errors that you need to send it to a Data recovery service.

Great service you've got there, mate! I have 2 harddrives that died on me. It's a shame because they contained such valuable information. Would you care to provide two first-class air tickets to Manchester Airport? A limousine charter from the airport to your office would be brilliant!

Cheers, mate! Hear from ya soon!

Suppose it depends how much damage has been done but there are a few programmes on the web which can get for free. All you need is the stuff to connect your HD to a working computer.

I've done it twice now and it was quite straight forward and I'm not exactly a techie.

The hardware connection casts about S440 iirc.

My CNY overseas photo "Scandisk card" corrupted.

Google thru scandisk website and found RescuePro in their webpage.

Paid the subscribtion fee (about S$60). Viola....able to save all the 2000+ photos.

Now trying ways to find out how to save the several short videos that I had took.
