Cars are not that weak, don't worry. Issues are not about the undercarriage actually. 1. Fuel/brake lines the runs alone the undercarriage. 2. Exhaust pipe. These two are more more of an issue rather than undercarriage. The undercarriage is actually reinforced on the sides (below the door). There is a vertical strip of metal running along the undercarraige on each side of the car. this is its the strongest and where you place your jack.
