can i say that, 205/55/16 has better grip, more comfort than compared to 195/50/16 due to the width and thickness? can i also say that more width means will drink slightly more petrol?

i saw kumho 195/50/16 $100 each today [cool]

Time for me to change tyres too. I am on 215/50R17. I was quoted PS3 ($285) and GR-90 ($310).

Any other (preferably cheaper) tyres to recommend? Something that is comfortable and quiet with decent dry/wet handling will suffice. No need those super grippy, high performance ones.

Thanks!
