Good idea.

The non-slip must be sticky enough.

Did you try conering and Ebrake? Will fly?

project just accomplished. going out now for the ultimate test.....shall update. [flowerface]

Btw, the coin pouch acts as a counter weight, without it, the gps will fall forward.

Good DIY job bro. When my rubber suction mount failed, I dismantled the rubber part and lined the plastic mounting with 3M foam tape. I then stuck it on permanently to my windshield. Only thing is go Malaysia will be problematic as they know you have some GPS for them to steal.

Supercharged

recently i bought this. so far so good.

tried cornering, E brake... steady pon pee pee

it fits the GPS v well. can put phone there too.

cost $9.50 only. I saw in GIANT and SPC petrol station. bought one from SPC station

Thanks for the lobang. [:)]

Problem is the gap only 15mm, or 1.5cm and non-adjustable. If gadget is > then 15mm than it can't fit in.

But I must say its only $9.50 so its rather cheap also....

this attached diagram may not be the actual one i bought. i just copy from google.

i can check my actual one later. but 15mm should be good enough for all gadgets.... my Garmin GPS fits in v nicely. smart phone definitely can fit in.

Problems with all these stuff is the sticky residue they will leave behind on the dash, when remove. Cos sometimes you might wanna remove it when not in use.....If it leaves no residue, then it is a good buy.

Not difficult to remove the residue if you know the method... [grin]
